VEGAS – July 20, 2004 – The Off-Broadway hit “Pieces
(of Ass)” makes its Las Vegas debut for a special two-night
engagement at The Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino,
on August 14 and 15. The groundbreaking and innovative production
made its debut July 2003 in New York, and in November opened
in Los Angeles with rave reviews.
“Pieces (of Ass)” features a series of original
monologues delivered by a cast of beautiful women each dealing
with themes uniquely common to the physically blessed female;
from perks and privileges, to the problems and pressures. These
pieces aim to go beneath the facade, behind the velvet rope,
and beyond the mirror to examine the concept of “hot
chick angst.”
Created, produced and directed by Brian Howie, co-founder
of New Scenario Entertainment Corp. (NSE), the production is
unique in that the format allows for nightly celebrity “CenterPIECES.” Actress
and Supermodel Rachel Hunter will be the guest for the Vegas
production. Past celebrity performers have included Brooke
Burke (E! host and Cover Girl), Nicole Richie (“The Simple
Life”), Jamie-Lyn DiScala (“The Sopranos”)
and Jenna Morasca (“Survivor”)
“Pieces (of Ass)” offers an insight into the lives
of 12 diverse, beautiful, entertaining and interesting women,
and it is the perfect environment for a celebrity to jump into
the rotation and share her unique experiences,” said
Howie. “We will be announcing our Las Vegas guest stars
shortly.”
Not the typical theatrical production, “Pieces” offers
a complete evening with a live female DJ, short films, outrageous
fashions throughout the performance to create a party atmosphere.
Tickets are $75 for VIP Gold Circle seating and $45 for Reserved
seating plus any applicable box office fees, and are available
at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Box Office and at all Ticketmaster
