OPENS SUNDAY, DECEMBER 12th

New Scenario Entertainment is pleased to announce the return of the off-Broadway phenomenon PIECES (of ass), which makes its way back to New York after sold-out engagements in both Los Angeles and Las Vegas. PIECES . . . , which originated last year off-Broadway (with runs at Theater 80 and The China Club), will begin performances at Dodger Stages, Theater II (located at 340 West 50th Street between 8th & 9th Avenues) on Tuesday, December 7th. PIECES . . ., conceived and directed by Brian Howie, officially opens on Sunday, December 12th. Tickets for PIECES . . . , which are scaled from $50 - $60, are available through Telecharge (212-239-6200) or at the Dodger Stages, Theater II box office.

PIECES… features a series of original monologues delivered by a cast of 12 beautiful women speaking about their own experiences -- each dealing with themes uniquely common to the physically blessed woman. From perks to privileges . . . to problems and pressures, these “pieces” aim to go beneath the beautiful facade in order to examine the concept of “hot chick angst.” PIECES . . . also creates a party-like atmosphere by incorporating a live female DJ and short films for a unique theatrical environment.

PIECES . . . originated off-Broadway at Theater 80, opening on July 10th, 2003. The production also played the China Club before moving cross-country to play sold-out performances in Los Angeles (Stuff Theatre at Raleigh Studios, Hollywood) and Las Vegas (The Joint, Hard Rock Hotel and Casino). PIECES . . . will be presented at Dodger Stages, Theater II by New Scenario Entertainment, Brian Howie, Thomas Hanna, and Paul Bordé.

The ensemble cast members of PIECES . . . include Julie Alexandria, Diahnna Nicole Baxter, Barbara Christabella, Christie D’Amore, Sara Gore, Rachel Hollon, Danielle James, Cassie Pappas, Rachael Robbins, Katie Walter and Lindsay Zir.

PIECES… will also feature a “Center PIECE” at select performances, incorporating a female celebrity sharing her own personal and unique experiences. Past “Center PIECES” have included Rachel Hunter (Actress, Supermodel), Nicole Richie (“The Simple Life”), Brooke Burke (E! “Wild On” host, Cover Girl), Jamie Lynn DiScala (HBO’s “The Sopranos”), Jenna Morasca (Winner of CBS’s “Survivor”), Trishelle Canatella (MTV’s “Real World”, WB’s “The Surreal Life”) and Brande Roderick (“Baywatch”), among many others. Upcoming “Center PIECE” celebrity guests will be announced shortly.

The cast of PIECES . . . are costumed by Baby Phat. Jewelry is provided by Vermillion and makeup is provided by MAC.

PIECES . . . also has set design by Pete Zumba, lighting design by Daniel Ordower, sound design by David Gilman and music design by John Hanna and Danny Walsh.

PIECES… will play at Dodger Stages, Theater II (located at 340 West 50th Street between 8th & 9th Avenues) beginning Tuesday, December 7th. The performance schedule is as follows: Tuesday through Saturday at 8:00 pm, and Sunday at 3:00PM and 7:00 PM.
